We were established in 2002 with 11 members at our first meeting. There are currently over 20 active members of the San Diego CIO Roundtable.

We meet for lunch from 11:30am - 1:30pm the second Tuesday of the second month of each quarter. We rotate the meeting location, so that a different member hosts the meeting every quarter. Rather than have outside guest speakers (which AITP already does at its other regular meetings), the host CIO will be the guest speaker, presenting his or her systems and operations. Each meeting will have an open lively discussion period, so that members can raise topics of interest or concern with the group.

There are no dues or meeting costs except to the host. Once you have attended three meetings you or your company are expected to join our sponsor organization, the San Diego Chapter of AITP, which entitles you to all the benefits of membership and an option to have your company logo and link on the CIO Rountable section of the chapter web site.

The members of the group voted to maintain the group as being "by CIO's, for CIO's." The meetings are open only to the top Information Technology manager of an organization, regardless of their title. No vendors or consultants! In order to screen prospective members, we have an application questionnaire.
