On May 1st, the professional membership campaign began and four Heart of a Champion (HOC) pilot chapters have been selected to deliver membership career building concepts.
Remember that IRS forms must be filed by May 15 for applicable chapters and regions! Feel free to contact AITP Headquarters at aitp_hq@aitp.org if you have questions.
Shortly, the Association Recruitment Committee will launch the recruitment campaign for 2011 positions. Please consider sharing your talents at the chapter, region and association levels!

Association Board of Directors Meeting (Teleconference) Wednesday, May 26, 2010, from 2 PM CDT to 3:30 PM CDT: Monthly Board of Directors Meeting open to all members. Please join by registering prior to the call RSVP.
Professional Membership Promotion Effective May 1st through June 30th, members who refer a new member (not a previous member for the past 12 months), will receive a $25 reduction of renewal dues for the following year. There is a limit of four referrals per member for this special promotion and normal Chapter and Regional Dues apply. Student Scholarship Opportunity The Foundation for Information Technology Education (FITE), www.edfoundation.org, is now taking applications for the 2010-2011 academic year, for the Betty Stevens-Frecknall Scholarship, the Kevin Jetton Service Scholarship, and the William R. Student Award Documentation due this Month May is the time to submit documentation for student awards. Nominations for 2 & 4 Year Educational Institution Recognition Award are due May 15 to studentawards@aitp.org. The Student Individual Performance Award (SIPA) documentation must be submitted to studentawards@aitp.org by May 31. And Student Outstanding Chapter Performance Award (SCOPA) documentation must be submitted to Region Presidents by May 31st.
