President's Message In May we launched our 2010 Spring Professional Membership Promotion which continues thru the end of this month. Enterprise Membership details were finalized and launched in May with enthusiastic reception by our chapters. Look for further updates and changes from the Professional Membership team this month. I encourage you to commit to long term support of AITP while reducing your expenses by renewing your membership for multiple years.
As June approached, the Awards Team was very busy with final applications for chapter and region activity awards. Great testimony to the activity of so many of our chapters! The May Virtual Water Cooler featuring our latest Association Outstanding Chapter Award (AOCA) recipient, the Pittsburgh Chapter, demonstrated the success possible with a smaller membership base. Do take a look at their presentation.
The Recruitment Committee has been busy updating forms, guidelines and the handbook in preparation for launching the 2010 search and application period for 2011 Association positions. Please consider sharing your talents and run for an open position if you are qualified or encourage others to do so. If your time to contribute is more limited, contact volunteers@aitp.org.
The Program Committee continues working with the four selected chapters (Atlanta, Columbus, Northeastern Wisconsin, and Southwest Missouri ) to launch their Heart of Champion (HOC) pilot events with numerous chapters waiting for their opportunity. New education opportunities are being researched, developed or prepared to pilot upon appropriate socialization.
Welcome to our newest Association Director Julian Wade. Julian is a member of the Atlanta chapter now serving as 2010 Director from the Southern District.

Professional Membership Promotion Effective May 1st through June 30th, members who refer a new member (not a previous member for the past 12 months), will receive a $25 reduction of renewal dues for the following year. There is a limit of four referrals per member for this special promotion and normal Chapter and Regional Dues apply.
